How much physical memory do you have?

In that case it shouldn't be a memory shortage, I will defer to anyone
who might have a better idea.  Sorry not to be ablel to help.

1. Which boot disk goes with the Slackware 3.0 pcmcia.gz root disk?

I can't get the Slackware 3.0 pcmcia.gz root disk to work because the
cardmgr fails with the message: "Card Services release does not
match."  The kernel version on the bare and net boot disks provided
with Slackware 3.0 seem to have the same kernel version (1.2.13) as
the modules version for the pcmcia modules on the pcmcia.gz disk.
Which boot disk should I be using?
