Post-Install Problem

Post-Install Problem

Post by Akshay Anan » Mon, 22 Feb 1999 04:00:00

I have Win98/Linux installed on my laptop. In Win98, my HDD shows only
1.18 GB used. Linux takes up approx. 1 GB. Win98 obviously cannot take
up only 180MB (well, it can, but I've other stuff on the HDD). Is the
problem with Win98?

Thanks.

Akshay

What tool are you using in Win98 to measure the drive usage?  If you click
on
the HD icon in Win98's "My Computer" , it will just show the percentage of
the Win98 partition that is used - it knows nothing about the Linux
partitions.

1. SDK post-install problems

Hello people,
Well, this should be going a lot smoother than this. I've just gone
through the procedure to install Solaris SDK on v2.5 x86. When I attempt
the following, per page 31 of the "SDK Installation Guide":
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/openwin/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

it comes back and tells me:
setenv: file not found

ok, so I surmise I must use the C-shell, so I type:
csh
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/openwin/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Now it tells me
LD_LIBRARY_PATH: undefined variable

C'mon, I thought this was defining it. If not, what's going on? I
followed the install procedure to the "t".

Thank you,
Craig
