 Hello all!

I have a Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro card that I want to get to work for
Xwindows.  I have found a X server, but need to know how to get the
setup software to know it is there.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

I'm not entirely sure how I got my  Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro to work
under RH 5.1, but it went something like this:

-) Installed XSuSE driver
-) Ran the XSuSE X configurator script, but it didn't work.
-) Ran RedHat's x configurator script and it almost worked,  but some of
the files were not in the expected paths.  Created symbolic links (Note:
the oposite of a "hard" link is a "symbolic" link, not "soft") to fix
that problem.
-) Configured and mostly up. Hand edited /etc/X86config to clean it up.

Highest resulution of card still not suported, but I don't think my
monitor could handle it anyway.

The bottom line was that it was not clean, but it could be hacked.
