can't install LINUX, DOS can't find CDROM drive (WIN95)

Post by Jennife » Sun, 09 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I used Partition magic to allow a choice on bootup between WIN95 and LINUX.
The CD is still recognized by WIN95 (drive name did not change) but when I
switch
to DOS mode to load LINUX from Slackward 3.3 it says drive not found.  I am
very
new to PCs and I don't know how to begin to solve the problem.

that electronic messages are great for getting the word out while preserving
our friend the tree.  Anyway, please stop by our home page!

Thanks again!
