XF86 bins seg-fault under 2.0.24

Post by Mike McCamma » Thu, 23 Jan 1997 04:00:00

A couple of months ago I upgraded my main server to the latest/greatest
Slackware rls, and then upgraded the kernel to 2.0.24.

Everything has been a picnic, until I installed the XFree86 the other
day.

Actually, not all is bad, but many of the X binaries in the distro
seg-fault and dump core, xfm is one prime example.  Many others run
flawlessly....

Do I have to get all the src and re-compile all these things after jumping
from 2.0.0 to 2.0.24?

Thanks,
