I have an Adaptec AHA1522 with a 1GB SCSI drive partitioned
as follows:
200 MB /dev/sda1
65 MB /dev/sda2
735 MB /dev/sda3
So far these partitions are formatted for DOS since I haven't
been able to boot from the Slackware 3.0.0 bootdisk. I have
tried 'scsi' and 'ascsi' and each hangs after displaying the
'loading ramdisk' message. This is my third Linux install, but
the first with only a SCSI drive.
I have tried using the boot parameter:
ramdisk aha152x=0x340,11,7,1
to no avail. Is ther something simple I am missing? Any help
would be appreciated.
