HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP! For no known reason, my Linux system (Slackware 3.0) just decided to hang.
I was installing some disk packages and I'm pretty sure I ran out of disk space but I'm not sure.
If you couldn't tell by now I am a Linux newbie. The problem is that when I boot the system hangs at this
line:
"VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly."
I've tried a boot disk and get the same result.
What do I do?
By the way, if you are answering this question then please tell me how to determine how much space is
left on a hard drive partition.
Thanks in advance,
Corey
