Very Computer

I'm considering an ink-jet printer between a Cannon 610 and
HP 540.  I want to run it under Linux and Windows95.

Which one is supported "better" under the above opearating
systems?

I have a Canon 600E and have yet to figure out the printcap file for it.

I have a HP560C that works great under Linux.  I have installed
Peter Anvin's "MAGICFILTER v 1.1" that allows me to print color
gif's etc.  I have included a copy of my /etc/printcap.  You
can find magicfiler on any linux ftp site.
