Hi,

Here is the problem: Tecra 700CS Toshiba laptop. My X on RedHat Linux 6.0
doesn't like 800x600 16bit colour mode, though it works perfectly under
800x600 with 8 bit colour. Can anyone something to say on these matters?
Where can I find appropriate drivers?

You may be limited by the amount of videoram you have.

Bytes  of videoram required  =  ( X resolution  x  Y resolution  x bits-
per-pixel )  /  8
