compiling imlib on Solaris 8 for intel....

Post by Karl H. Becker » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

Hi all,

got this problem with compiling imlib 1.9.7 on Solaris 8 for intel.
configure alway claims it can't find libpng, libtiff, giflib and
though all are there ... originally installed as binaries, but did a
compile and install of libungif 4.1.0 and libpng 1.0.3 to no avail.

Any ideas, anybody?

1. Did anyone compile imlib in solaris?

The solaris always displays the same message, despite the configure
check looks all fine.
I have installed gtk1.2.3 and it works properly.
Any help

Thanks a million
