I have a Gateway 486DX2-66 + 16MB + ATI GUP VLB + CrystalScan 1572FS.
Does anyone have Xconfig and XFR86Config for above system. I tried
more than 20 times to configure myself, but failed.

For what version of X? I have one for Xfree86 2.1.1 (X11R5), email
me if this is what you need.

1. ATI GUP & CrystalScan 1572FS
Hello All,
I am having trouble getting XFree86 configured properly and would greatly
appreciate some help.
I have a Gateway 486/33 LocalBus with a ATI Graphics Ultra Pro video card
(which reports 1 meg of on-board memory). The monitor is a CrystalScan 1572FS.
I found entries for both the monitor and the video card in the notes provided
and built a XF86Config file using them. This file partly works in that X will
startup and provide a 640x480 mode and 1024x768 mode but the 800x600 mode
doesn't work at all. The 1024x768 mode worries me because it doesn't
completely fill the screen making me wonder if I am overdriving my refresh
rate somehow.
I would greatly appreciate an example of a working XF86Config file from
someone who has this card/monitor configuration.
By the way, ConfigXF86 doesn't work properly on my system (Slackware Pro
v.2.1) so I can't use it to build a config file.
