I am *very* new to unix, in fact, I am just starting out, Ive never
installed it
or used it, but I have a need to learn Unix. I have tried to install
various versions, the latest of which is Minilin. I have it setup on its
own drive, (Drive D: on my system, which is a 256mb IMB)
I get the following errors when I run the batch file:
Calibrating delay loop - failed
Trying to read non existant block device 000D (1)
Unable to read superblock
ms-dos bread failed
VFS: Wrong blocksize on device 0/13
HPFS: Map_sector: read error
and finally...
Kernal panic: VFS: Unable to root mount
For information, I am running a P120.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I using the wrong loadlin perhaps?
or do I need to change the LINUX.BAT?
I have run out of idea's...
Please help, and, bear in mind that we all have to start somewhere! :)
