Very Computer

Today i tried to install the lp-package for my star lc-10 matrix printer.
Installation ok, but when I want to print something and i check the
queue, I always find a 'waiting for lp to become ready (offline ?)'.
My printer is online (I have checked it a hundred time). This is driving
me mad.

Can somebody please put on the light for me????

You have to compile paralell printer support into your kernel. Then it should
work.
