They do, and quickly as well (usually less than a week to Newfoundland).
The only unreasonable part of the price is the $USD->$CDN excahnge rate :(

There are a few places listed at linux-mandrake.com(click on Cheap
CD's)... But I recommend you go to cheapbytes.com and order it online
from there. None of the Canadian ones let you order online and most will
probably cost the same amount and take just as long. (you have to mail
them a check and then they mail you back with the cd.)

Hey, Canuck: Toronto Computer Books usually has a decent selection of
the latest distribs.  I bought my SuSE at cheapbytes, but it would have
been slightly cheaper getting it Waterloo Computer Books, their sister
store.

Also, the "World's Biggest", off Younge (Yonge? I always forget the
spelling) has a pretty large selection.

You can always pick up RH 5.2 cheap(er) and upgrade the kernel
yerself...

Alternatively, you could try www.lsl.com (Linux System Labs?).

I bought RH 6.0 + RPM Apps CD + Install Guide for $3.95US + shipping.

It came to $12 US altogether ( < $20 Cdn ).  Was delivered in under a
week.

Cheers,
Mark

I just ordered RH6.0  i386 for $1.99 + $5.00 shipping from
www.cheapbytes.com
(U.S. dollars)

Oh ya, If you live in the Toronto area,  plan on following the articles in
"The Computer Paper" as they are starting a column on Linux for newbies.
They suggested the $1.99 version of RH6.0 and will have a monthly column on
Linux like they had for creating web sites.  Larry (north of T.O.)

1. Does anyone know anything about LOCUS' DOS MERGE running on Linux

I am about to install linux.  I'm wondering if the DOS MERGE product
will run on it, to run DOS as a process under X.  There's a new
version of Merge that's just come out that supports DOS 5.0 and
Windows 3.1.  I'm particularly interested in that version.

Thanks.

Josh Lobel

P.S. I spoke to Locus yesterday and they said that
        a) hooks in kernel are necessary
        b) they need to make an OEM agreement w/someone, because they
can't sell directly to users -- who could this be??

Can dosem run windows yet?? when??
