Hi all,

I have been looking for glibc-2.0.7 (jdk116 is unhappy with 2.0.6), but it
doesn't appear to be at ftp.gnu.org where all the earlier versions exist.
Does anyone know where I can find it?

I tried to use the source from debian's site (glibc-2.0.7t.orig), but when I
try to compile it I get an error that _avail is undefined while compiling
vfscanf (I think). Also, I don't like to borrow sources from debian because
it makes me wonder whether they have been patched from the canonical sources...

in short:
1) where is the official home for glibc-2.0.7
2) anyone know what to make of _avail undefined in vfscanf?

I'm trying to compile on kernel 2.1.115 with gcc 2.8.1 and glibc-2.0.6

I don't have an answer, but try ftpsearch (http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no)

and search for:

glibc-2\.0\.7.*tar.gz

or something such
(choose "regular expression search" in 'search type')

Maybe you'll find something.

I see a few different versions of glibc there (including 2.0.7)
