Help!
I'm trying to setup XFree86 on my ThinkPad 755CD and I can't get
XFree86 to work. I'm getting an error when I run startx that says:
SVGA: Maximum allowed dot-clock: 90.000 MHz
SVGA: There is no defined dot-clock matching mode "640x400"
Fatal server error:
No valid modes found
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unexpected signal 13
I've tried changing to just the generic VGA drivers, linking to the
proper server, and I still can't run XFree86. I'm thinking there must
be a patch or something. Why won't it run?
BTW, the ThinkPad755CD's chipset is in the cards as 123, but it still
doesn't work.
