by I am having a bit of trouble installing the SMC EtherPower (PCI)
ethernet card. When I place the card into a PCI slot, I get an unknown
PCI device at boot time. I have rebuilt the kernel with the new tulip.c,
but still nothing. I tried the lower EtherEZ (ISA) with a
different kernel and
that gets detected fine. I have the option of exchanging the PCI for the ISA
but would rather not. Any hints on my problem would be greatly appreciated.
