I've got a 2400 modem and i want to install it but with setserial i can't
get the com port lower then 9600.

How can i get the com port at 2400 ?

1. serial ports, DIP: why can't I get > 2400 baud?

This is weird:  under DOS, my modem (a 14,400 baud V.32bis V.42 PM14400FX)
works just fine, and will happily connect at 57,600 baud.

But when I try to connect to the same Annex number using DIP, the modem
will only negotiate a 2400 baud connection!

What might I be doing wrong?  I specify "speed 57600" in DIP.  Is there
something I need to do to configure my serial ports under Linux?
