It cetainly can be done. I have Win95 and RH 5.2 on my Tecra 8K. You will
need the latest version of pcmcia-cs from David Hinds (3.0.9 last time I
looked). The pcmcia stuff is still a bit flakey (at least for my 3Com
ethernet card), but it does work. Forget the built in modem, though. It's
a cheesey Winmodem and will not work in Linux. I'm still wrestling with
the sound card; I'm sure that I can figure it out as soon as I can find
some time.
It's a decent Linux box. KDE runs wonderfully on the NeoMagic 1024x768
screen and the machine is generally fast and responsive. Let me know if
