Hello,

I want to do an ftp install of Suse 8.0 an a machine with a Mylex DAC960P
Raid controller. This controller is not supported by the driver on the
standard modules disk. I found the correct driver but I don't know how to
use it. I suppose I have to make a custom modules disk with this driver and
load it when booting using a floppy.
I also only have a ms windows system at this time...so could anybody could
give me a hint how to proceed installing Suse 8.0 by a ftp with a new raid
driver?

1. Trying to create ISO cd boot disk for SuSE Linux 6.4 installation

I have downloaded the entire SuSE 6.4 installation but apparently it's too
large to fit on a standard CD.  Are there essential files that I can keep
and delete the rest?

Has anyone successfully created an ISO CD.  I can't FTP so I can't update
via that route.

I also can't find the url referencing ISO creation.

Any help out there?
