I am unable to get my mouse to work under x, can someone point me n the
right direction

I have Redhat linux 4.1, using Xfree86 3.2.4
I have a regular mouse under com 1, my ****pointer**** section reads
"Microsoft"
"/dev/cua0"

The screen does look fne and I do not have a problem with the monitor, the
mouse only moves with the arrow keys....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks again....

For an unkown reason i have that problem too, but i've found a way around
it. Use ALT+TAB(this should "mark" one of the shell windows)
type XF86Setup ,Click on YES(yes this is a reconfiguretion) now go to
"MOUSE" and click on the stuff you need to get your mouse to work(like
3bottons/cordmiddle) now press "a" or move to the APPLY botton, and when
your mouse works click(you might need to test alot of diifernt settings to
get it to work so DO NOT GIVE UP!)
DONE, then click OKEY and select SAVE. Your muse is(should be) working in
x-windows

No, it's a desktop. It is a Microstar MS-6163 ATX BX13 motherboard based on
Intel 82443BX/PIIX4E chipset.
