Can't make Adaptec 2940xx work

Can't make Adaptec 2940xx work

Post by Franklin Pool » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

I've tried two different variations of my 2940 cards. I'm using the aic7xxx driver
supplied in the 2.2.5-15 kernel from Redhat 6.0.  I get a 'referenced SCB 13...'
error message, attempts to reset the the SCSI host, and it runs in an endless
loop. I've seen this same message referenced in several archived posts various
places, but have never seen any reference to an answer??

help. I need to use my 2940a and 2940UW cards!!
