by I'm trying to install Redhat 3.0.3. I'm having a problem with my scsi
controller. My system. 2ide drives, 1cdrom(atapi). 1 adaptec 1540cf
with a fujitsu 1GB hardrive. This hard drive works fine under dos and
Win95. Adaptec is set to 334, 11, 6. At this setting I keep getting
sense errors and it keeps trying to reset. I've tried other irq and
dma settings to no avail. When I change the ioport to 130 the install
continued. When it came to setting up the partition it did not show
/dev/sda on /dev/hda, b, c.
Any help would be appreciated.
