i try to install linux but after i place the root disk in i get an out
of memory type of error...

if you have ever installed it on a system like this let me know how you

PS. I have successfully installed slackware onto a similar machine
with 4 megs of memory. (I have since upgraded it to 8 megs since
memory is soooooo damn cheap these days!) The way I did it was using
a root floppy *file system* rather than ram disk.
