Very Computer

        Ok, I've got a CDU33A, and have always had my cd working under 3.0.3.
I went to install 4.0 off of the Infomagic Dec 96 set, and the boot kernel
won't recognize my cd drive, no matter what I try.  I've booted normally, and
added the appropriate options when it asked (cdu31a=0x340,0), nothing, I've
tried adding the hardware options when it comes to the boot: prompt, and I
can't get it to recognize my cd.  Any ideas, or is this a bad boot image?  CD
installation worked fine for REdhat 3.0.3.

Red Hat reports:
        "For the Sony CDU31a CDROM, the I/O address argument is cdu31a_port
(not cdu31a), and the IRQ argument is cdu31a_irq."

I'd try the same thing for your cd
