Everything you need software-wise in order to get a linux box
networked is included in all normal distributions.

Anything on networking and system administration from O'Reilly should

My other recommendation is, _TCP/IP Network Administration_ by Craig
Hunt (O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. 1992, ISBN 0-937175-82-X).
