Very Computer

Something wrong with my SCSI card or SCSI drive.  When I do
    mke2fs -c /dev/sdc2 1176576

I got
    aha274x: target 2 underflow --- wanted (at least 16384), got 7168

My drive:  Seagate ST32430N 2.1G, partitioned as
       900M for DOS, the rest (~1,176M) for linux.

Could you tell me waht's wrong?

I forgot to say my actuall card Adaptec AHA2842A, VESA BUS
