Hello,

I am having a problem getting my xemacs to run. I am running it on
linux (1.2.13) the RedHat/Caldera distribution.

When I run Xemacs-19.13 it opens a terminal window and says:
./xemacs-19.13: can't resolve symbol '_h_errno'

I suspect that I might be missing the library which contains this
symbol.  If this is the case, does anyone know which library I am
missing?  If this isn't the case (in your opinion) please let me know
what you think is wrong.

BTW, I downloaded two Xemacs files, a common one and a linux-elf specific
binary. I installed them in /usr/local like the README file instructed.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect that your version of libc is outdated (it's either that or it is
too new ;>) There was some traffic on this topic about 6 weeks ago - an
archive server might help, as might a search of your nearest sunsite mirror
for either (a) a new version of xemacs, or (b) different version of libc.
