I'm looking for something that'll do 360x360 or 720x720 dpi mono and color.
I don't mind writing a driver, but don't want to if I can avoid it.

On the other hand, the technique of processing files through Adobe Distiller
and printing from Acrobat works quite well. The color matching isn't 100%,
but everything prints, and at full device resolution.
What is the "epsonnc" driver you mention?

1. Looking for GhostScript driver for Epson Color Stylus 680
Hi!
I have a problem setting up Epson Stylus 680 to work with
Ghostscript. I tried 'stcolor' device, without any extra options. It
prints correctly about 60% of the A4 page, and then simply stops. The
postscript file looks OK when loaded in Ghostview. I tried other
devices like 'st800' with the same result. 'uniprint' for some reason
did not work at all. I just added '-sDEVICE=uniprint' with no other
extras.
I use Debian GNU/Linux 2.2, Ghostscript is I think 5.1x. The printer
works OK with the supplied driver on Windows98.
Has anyone successfully setup this printer to work with Ghostscript? I
also have a problem when trying to print plain ASCII files to this
printer (both from Linux and Win98). The head moves a bit, some
whizzing sound is made but nothing is printed.
