What needs to be done to create new user accounts under linux?  Is
there a command to do this?  Or do I just have to modify a few files?

You can use the "/sbin/adduser" command.

Try "man useradd". There you'll get all the information you need.

you can try (as root): /sbin/adduser.
The useradd programme also works, but needs everything as command
line options, which isn't very user-frendly.

(DONT read these lines: I have to add them
because my nntp server doesn't allow
more included text than own text.
STUPID nntp server!)

have some menu like netware? i use adduser now but feel don't convenient..
