I had bugs with my video card in RH 5.1. Try using
the command xf86config, then answer the questions
step by step. The program you probably have been
using is Xconfigurator. To start that type it just like
I spelled it. Remember to stop the X server, if
the configuration does not work, press CRTL +
ALT+BKSP.
