by I Have an AIWA AHA300 SCSI CD ROM on a SB16 SCSI card. It works well
under Dos /Aspi manager. However I can't get linux to handle it.
I am using the scsinet kernel (1.1.5.9) from the QUE /Infomagic Using
Linux Book/CD.
If I enter mount root=/dev/sdb1 aha152x=0x340,11,7,1 at the boot prompt I
can boot and mount the HDs from a boot floppy. The auto probe sees the CD but
gives errors, and any attempt to manually mount it gives "the kernel does not
support iso9660" message.
I guess the problem lies in the :
inbound message ( MESSAGE REJECT ), aha152x: P_CMD: 1(0) bytes left in
FIFO, resetting
inbound message ( MESSAGE REJECT ), inbound message ( MESSAGE REJECT ),
inbound message ( MESSAGE REJECT ),.......................

Ihave to do this mount root bit because LILO just gives 1010101010 from a
LILO Floppy having put aha152x=............ in lilo.conf
Any help or advice would be much appreciated, as would a reply by E-Mail
