Define the X Desktop for "StartX" command

Hi,
I'm using Linux Mandrake 7.2.
I have installed all the XDesktop environnements (KDE2,KDE1, GNOME,
WINDOWS MANAGER.../...).
When i type "StartX", it runs Gnome !
I would want to start with KDE for this user.
I know that it exists "Destop Swiching". But with this version of Gnome
i didn't find.
Can you give me the name of the program for destop switching ? The
informations about sessions and XWindows desktop are stocked in which
file (.xsession ?).
Thank you !
Bubux

Look at .initrc and a man startx will tell you more. (I am using Slackware
and looking at my system.)
