Parallel-Port CDROM Support?

Hi all,

There is a parallel-to-IDE CDROM interface in the market. Can anyone
tell me Linux support this type of interface or not ? Thanks

1. Help : Which parallel port CDROM drive support by Linux?

I need to upgrade my Linux on my notebook (without a CDROM drive).
I have decided to get a parallel port CDROM drive instead of using floppies to
install Linux. I need to know which parallel port CDROM drive is supported
by Linux?

                                                Thanks in advance
