Is there a utility that will let DOS/Win9x read/write ext2 partitions?

Is there a utility that will let DOS/Win9x read/write ext2 partitions?

My new RH 6.2 HD installation is slowly wobbling toward usefulness, but I'm still having problems with P&P cards (NIC & sound) and accessing my Win95 partitions.  I've downloaded several files I need, but I can't get them over to the RH system!

I've tried mounting my Win95 partitions, and have tried using mtools, but to no avail.  All I can get access to is my tiny "C:" partition, and not any of my D: through I: partitions (spread across 3 disks).  The documentation I've read so far has not provided any specific help for handling logical volumes within extended partitions.  (Shouldn't there be a utility that can scan all partitions and do the appropriate mounts AUTOMATICALLY?)

One of the packages I need to get over to Linux is the isapnp package.  Once I get my P&P NIC (3c509B) up and running, I can just download what I need directly from Linux.  But until then, I have to find a way to transfer the data, either from within Linux, or from within Win95.

TIA,

Never mind!  If finally got all my Win95 partitions mounted.  It seems extended partitions are counted by Linux starting as partition "5".  The first extended partition on each of my disks was sd[x]5.

1. Letting non-root write to dos partition?

How can I allow non-root users to write to the dos partition of the
hardrive?  The dos partition is automatically mounted on bootup by linux.

Thanks!
