I have just installed ML 9.0 and found all of my earlier sound problems with
my SiS7012 onboard sound card solved with kernel 2.4.19.
I now just have one problem left. Xine cannot find my sound driver though
sound is fine playing music CD's and starting ML 9.0.
Any ideas?

I've been looking through all the previous posts about people having
problems getting audio to work using xine, and haven't come across a
solution that has worked for me. I know my speakers are ok bc i can
play cd's and mp3's with xmms, and the video on xine works fine, just
no audio to go with it. I am running gnome under Mandrake 8.2.
Anyone have any useful suggestions (I have tried 'xine -a oss' and
changing the audio and SPU channels)? Thanks.
