I was getting the same message, but I just killed all processes and they
[halt & shutdown] worked for me.
1. Can't shutdown - get message Shutdown is already running
I have installed Linux 2.0.28.
and have the problem to shutdown the machine.
When I give the
- key combination CTRL-ALT-DEL or
- the command as root: reboot
it answers always:
- shutdown is already running
and does nothing.
Can anybody help me?
