I'm trying to upgrade an older system (no bootable CDROM, hda=240 MB
IDE) from RH 5.2 to RH 6.1. I've created an installation diskette which
works OK, but when I boot from it I get the massage:
CRC errorVFS: Cannot open root device 08:32
kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:32
Can somebody give an explanation?
