by I can't install Linux (September 96)
The "Kernel Panic" allways appears.
I'm about to leave all.
HARD
Pentium 133
32 MB Ram
Quantum 1.7 Gigs
Diamond Stealth PCI 2 Megs
Sond Blaster 16 PNP
and the *ing Creative 8X CD-ROM
The CD-ROM is installed in the Sond Blaster card (set as Third IDE)
and set in slave mode.
I've tried putting it in the second ide, first as slave, second as slave,
third as master....
all possible combinations and allway the same result (except when I put it
in master mode where there's no way of recognizing it in the boot)
If someone can help me I'll appreciate.
