1. Diamond Stealth 64 Screen Saver

Does anyone know how I can disable the screen saver o my Diamond
Stealth 64 VRAM video card?  I'm running Linux 1.1.18. After a
few minutes of inactivity, the monitor is blanked. While blanked, none
of the network services seem to work (for example, no other computer on
my Ethernet LAN can access any of my NFS-mounted disks). This happens
whether or not I'm running the X server (Xfree86 3.1.1).

PS: I also have screen saver problems when running DOS on this machine.
After the screen saver kicks in, the keyboard becomes inoperative.

Any ideas on what's happening?
