Linux don't detect correct partitions (HELP!)

I have win98 instaled and create two logical partition to caldera
OpenLinux, one for instalation and other for swap, those partition ere
created with Partition magic , when i try to install linux the lizard
report only one partition (the entiredisk ,20Gb) and reports as free
disk space. can someone give me a tip how to solve this.
