Chkdsk for linux?

Hi,

Is there anyway to determine hard disk consumption in Linux?

I think I'm getting close to the end of the disk, but I can't
tell for sure.

1. Chkdsk equivalent

Hi,

I am on a DEC OSF/1 Unix system and I was wondering if there is any
command in UNIX that is similar to the MS-DOS Chkdsk command ?

Thank you...
