Does anyone know how to setup the Ensoniq Soundscape soundcard so that it
works with Linux and X windows.

if you mean the Ensoniq Soundscape VIVO card, then the easiest way
to get the sound to work is to boot to dos (load sound drivers)
and use loadlin to boot linux. I played with the pnptools a little but
going to dos from the bootmanger is a small price to pay for music.

what does X have to do with sound? heh ;)
