how to change the bdflush(update) 's update time

Post by Huang Ka » Wed, 19 May 1999 04:00:00

hi,
my system is RH5.2
I'd like to change the bdflush(update)'s update time, which is 30 seconds by
default.
I cannot find it at /etc/rc.d/init.d/*
and I cannot stop it by kill.
What I can do now?

1. warning: process 'update' used the obsolete bdflush...

Hello,

When switching from 2.4.20 to 2.5.x (x being recent), I have this
message...

What does this mean ?
1 - I have no process named update running,
2 - I can't find anything name update in /etc/rc.d/* recursively.

Regards,
Paul
