Well.. Lilo just loads the kernel and passes parameters (if any) to the
kernel. The kernel is responsible for loading the driver. If it works with
lilo, you just pass the same parameters to loadlin (if you don't know
them, they are in /etc/lilo.conf in the append= line). Copy the kernel to
the DOS drive and use 'loadlin vmlinuz _your_parameters_', and your system
should work just as if it was loaded by lilo.
Remember the root=_your_root_device_ line.
