win98 printjob to linux server quits on last page

Post by Scott Dugui » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

I have a linux system set up as a print server for a win98 machine.
Using samba,
I have managed to get it working to the point where any document will
begin to print
out and get to the last part of the last page, then it stops printing
and I have to reset the
printer.  (btw, it's an hp820cxi)

Perhaps I need a formfeed?

Any ideas on how I would do this or get it working in any other fashion?

Thanks

1. samba printing - quits half way through last page

I have Samba set up on a 2 computer network.  One is my Linux
proxy/print server and the other is a win98 client.
I have set up my printcap so that the Windows driver is used for my
printer(HP820cxi)
The document begins to print properly but invariably quits before the
final page is printed.  Here is my printcap file:

hp820cxi:\
 :sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:\
 :mx#0:\
 :lp=/dev/lp0:\
 : #:\
 :rw:sh:

Does anyone have an idea as to what I might have to change to get the
whole document to print out?

Thanks,
