by Could someone help me with setting up smail for my Debian box?
I tried to do it, and I think it's working, but am not sure. There
aren't many questions to ask, but I'm not 100-percent sure on how
to answer each one.
Fetchmail is already configured and working; but it complains that
the SMTP sniffer (I'm assuming this is smail) doesn't like user
pcr387...this'll make sense in a minute.)
Here's my information:
User: david
Localhost: milwaukee
My ISP user ID: pcr387
My SMTP/POP3 server: hecky.acns.nwu.edu
When configuring smail, I thought that my "smarthost" should be my
SMTP server. I don't know, though.
If I were to do the "Internet configuration" of smail, how would
the above variables come into play?
