Post by Husni Fah » Wed, 29 Mar 1995 01:28:38

Hi,
        My kernel 1.2.0 could not recognized my sony cdu55E cd-rom, then
I downloaded idecd.gz bootdisk from sunsite in order to recognize ide
cd-rom. When I booted it gave me the following message:

======================
Console: colour EGA+ 80x25, 1 virtual console (max 63)
bios32_init : BIOS32 Service Directory structure at 0x000fff70
bios32_init : BIOS32 Service Directory entry at 0xfda89
pcibios_init : PCI BIOS revision 2.00 entry at 0xfdad8
Probing PCI hardware.

======================
The computer hangs there after giving message: "Probing PCI hardware".

Can anybody help me please?
Thanks.
