I have a Texel DM3024 (interal) CD-ROM and a Future Domain 850 (biosless)
card. I CANNOT get Linux to recognize the CD-ROM. At the boot prompt I add
the line "tmc8xx=0xde00,5" and this lets Linux 'see' the SCSI controller;
however, I still see the message 'scsi : detected total' at bootup. In other
words, my CD-ROM is not visible. What's the deal? I have had NO problems
under DOS or Windows with this CD-ROM. Can someone please help me set it up?!
Also, the CD-ROM is set at SCSI ID #2 and LUN 0. Please email.
