If the Cd is mounted, then in RedHat 5.2 it is mounted on /mnt/cdrom.  So
just go to the directory "/mnt/cdrom".  It will act just like any other
directory and to install "*.rpm" files on the CD, just use the rpm
command, ex. "rpm -i filename.i386.rpm".

Isn't there a README on the CD? If not then I would send it back.

If X is on, run xfm(file manager). A lot easier for you. If not, at
prompt, do

        cd /mnt/cdrom
        ls

usually the case.

1. Mounting DOS CD on SPARC CD/ROM

We are running a small TCP/IP network with a SUN SPARC with Solaris
1.x and PCs with PC/NFS;  I was wondering if anybody knows of a
way to mount a DOS CD on the SPARC CD/ROM drive and run the
DOS .exe from the PCs.  I tried to mount it from the server with a
mount PCFS ... but this didn't work.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
